Dear Navigator Families and Students,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at Navigator Elementary! We hope you all enjoyed a wonderful, restful summer break. We are eager to bring our vibrant and diverse Navigator community back together for another amazing year of learning and growth.

🗓️ Important Dates & Bell Schedules

First Day of School: Thursday, August 6th

Class assignments will be sent via email by 4pm on Monday, August 3rd.

First Three Weeks: Grades K–3 Assessment Schedule (August 7th – 21st)

To allow teachers time to conduct individual student assessments, Grades K–3 will follow a minimum day schedule for the first three weeks:

  • Start Time: 8:15 AM
  • Monday–Wednesday & Friday Dismissal: 1:21 PM
  • Thursday Dismissal: 1:15 PM

🎉 Celebrating Our Success & Looking Ahead

We are extremely proud of the hard work demonstrated by our staff, students, and families last year. Thanks to everyone’s dedication, our CAASPP test scores showed incredible growth:

  • +5.0% increase in English Language Arts (Grades 3–5)
  • +2.6% increase in Mathematics (Grades 3–5)
  • +3.0% increase in Science (Grade 5)
  • +12.0% increase in ELPAC (English Language Proficiency) scores

Additionally, Navigator Elementary was nationally recognized by Marzano Resources with Level 3 Certification in Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum!

 

 

This school year, we will build on this momentum by focusing on three key priorities:

  1. Academic Excellence for every child.
  2. 95% Attendance across all grade levels.
  3. Living our 5 Bs: Be Responsible, Be Respectful, Be Safe, Be Kind, and Be Productive.

We are looking forward to a powerful, positive, and productive year ahead. We can't wait to see all of our students back on campus!
